Good Day Loves,
So one of the many things that I simmered on all 2018 was my personal style. Although I had a very slay-worthy year for the cystas, I still felt that there were areas of my style that I could expand on more. After all the simmering, I finally decided that my style is a fusion of true Street Chic. I love the undertones of urban wear mixed with a smidge of sophistication from time to time. As much as some may look at the Kardahsians as a little too rique, I actually find my personal style to be a mix of them, Rihanna, and a sprinkle of Mrs. Obama. To some that may sound a bit far-fetched, but in my mind it makes perfect sense. However, my last year of fashion didn’t reflect that at all, so I vowed in 2019, I would strive to change my visual appearance to match the definition of my slay goddess within.
Additionally, I decided to ask a close friend/love of mine to give me his input on ways to revamp my current fashion lens, so many of what you see this year isn’t just a reflection of my style alone. It’s a collaboration of my views mixed with the creativity of a stylist. One thing that you can guarantee, is no matter how my lifestyle changes, I plan to slay at every stage. I also don’t believe that just because of my size or shape, that I am limited to a certain look or more concealed clothes. I am of the belief that I can be saved, sexy, sophisticated, and confident all in one. Well enough of my ranting, here is a my first look of 2019: I entitle it Read My LIPS because I love the shirt and my renewed relationship with makeup.
