Fit Cyster Tip: The Power Of Spearmint Tea

October 18, 2017

Good Morning Cysters,

So as I continue my journey in dealing with PCOS and looking for natural supplementation to help combat my symptoms, I’ve run across continuous posts regarding spearmint tea. Spearmint Tea is supposedly one of the best beverages for anyone who suffers from Hirsutism and lowers LH and androgen production in the blood. Well, even though many people can’t tell, I am extra hairy everywhere (I just shave, laser, wax, bleach, etc), so I decided to give this a try. I can honestly say, after drinking organic spearmint tea (I drink 2 cups a day) over the past week, I have seen a slowing down of Hair growth on my chin, which has me twerking all over the house. However, spearmint tea helps with so much more:

  • Spearmint Tea assists in creating bile for people who suffer with IBS
  • It is a natural decongestant
  • Naturally detoxifies the body
  • It helps with skin allergies and unclogs the pores assisting with minimizing acne
  • It relieves tension headaches, stress, fatigue, and nausea
  • Balances hormones (as mentioned above)
  • Improves memory
  • Prevents fungal infections
  • Reduces inflammation

Now of course I’m certain these benefits come into play after an extended period of time, but I’ve definitely added it to my regimen. So if you’re hairy or bowels have gone cray (another symptom of PCOS), start sipping some spearmint tea today!

With Love,
