First Impressions of Rumble Boxing DC

Good Morning Loves,

It’s June!!!! Officially we are half way through 2019 and I officially decided to change gears these last 6 months to focus on FITNESS & FINANCE. Not only have I started a new workout program with Blueplate Aesthetics (which I’ll blog about later this week), I decided to try new workouts as I discover them. This brings me to Rumble DC; a new hip and upscale HIIT workout fusing boxing and hip hop! Praised by celebrity supporters such as Kevin Hart, Rumble Boxing provides a fun atmosphere focused on getting you fit, toned, sexy, and most importantly imparting an experience for their attendees. Each class has a professionally trained instructor with a different music vibe, so you can definitely pick your favorite trainer based off your playlist mood for the day.

The staff was incredibly friendly. Any questions or concerns I had were answered and they were very informative of all the perks of being a member of the Rumble experience. I was fully impressed by the look and feel of the facility and appreciated that they offered personal training and saunas for individuals looking for a bit more than the group class setting. There were plenty of clean towels as well as gloves for every person and the cleanliness was impeccable (I’m a germaphobe so this matters lol).

Yet most importantly the workout was amazing!!!! I was sweating within 5 minutes literally. The way each class is structured you either can start off on the boxing side or the free weight side of class (no worries you switch twice throughout the course of the series). Each side has specified moves in which the instructor will demonstrate before each fitness round to ensure everyone knows what they are to do…. it’s also highlighted on screens above in each fitness area of the room. What I also love is there is no pressure, go at your pace! I have some pain in my knees so I was able to modify moves without pressure or judgment. The goal is to never give up and keep moving. Lastly, because you have to book online and pick a space prior to class, the instructor gets a chance to learn your name so He or She can cheer you on. How dope!!!!! I give Rumble 2-thumbs up!
